When we are open, there’s jazz! September 17th 7-10pm, La Cour, French Restaurant & Jazz Club, presents Paul Musso & Byron Hamer.
Paul Musso will be joined by Byron Hamer on bass to present Musso’s Latin flavored original compositions and jazz standards. Musso will play two sets of creative music that will feature songs by great composers like Jobim, Gershwin and Cole Porter. He will also feature songs from his Tonescapes and Songs From the Pier releases. Paul will sing selections from his Nat King Cole tribute as well as a few Bossa Nova songs.
Byron Hamer is an internationally traveled flutist and saxophonist having performed in Europe, South America, Asia, and the United States. Byron is currently based in Denver, Colorado.
While in High School in 1976, he traveled to Montreux, Switzerland to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival with the Littleton Community Jazz Ensemble.
He has backed up such jazz greats as Joe Williams, Diane Schuur, George Shearing, Tony Bennett, Wayne Newton, Keely Smith, the Four Tops, and Boz Scaggs. His musical theater experience includes the shows Beehive, Love Janis and Guys and Dolls at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.
Byron is a current member of the Tunisia Band, a 10-piece group that performs throughout Colorado and the US for corporate events, dances, weddings, and outdoor summer concerts.
We believe Live Jazz should be as accessible as possible. As always there is no cover charge.
